Mike Slack, Jason Fulford & the Battles
Mike Slack shoots polaroids. Lots & lots of them. There's a decent interview with him here. He put out a great book called OK OK OK on J & L Books which is run in part by another good photographer, Jason Fulford. Jason's pictures are featured on the sleeves of the recent Battles EPs. The Battles are Ian Williams' (Don Cab/Storm & Stress) new band with Tyondai Braxton (Anthony's son), John Stanier (Helmet/Tomahawk) & Dave Konopka (Lynx). They're playing at the Open End Gallery tonight but we are going to stay home & eat chicken.
