Univega Conversion Update #1

You were totally wondering what I've been doing with all the spare time I have when I'm not in the studio pretending to work on my thesis project or hanging out with MC, so I decided to let you in on my secret.

I've been putting together a new bike, a winter bike that'll probably be done just in time for spring. The top photo is just after I finished sanding it, mostly by hand like a dimbulb. I have one tip other than an orbital sander: don't use a no-name angle grinder that makes scary noises & smokes if you use it for more than 25 seconds. The second photo is the frame hanging up in my drying room/the space over my desk after the 2nd coat of primer. The tip for this step: don't paint in the non-ventilated basement near the dryer with the electric ignition thing-y. Paint outside like everyone says you should. They are right.

I will keep you updated since I can see that you are eager for news.
